Esmeralda the Ringmaster and Matilda the baby Elephant

The Circus is in Town!!

Esmeralda The Legendary Ringmaster and her baby Elephant Matilda.

Esmeralda has my signature stitched eye lids, with blue eyes. Pinched stitched nose and stitched red lips. She has vintage porcelain hands.

Her hair is hand dyed dark brown mohair with pin curls and a braid.

I hand painted her dress skirt with red and white paint. It has the feel and look of a circus big top. Her top is red fabric. Her outfit is embellished with vintage gold trimmings and faux pearls

Her top hat is made from brocade fabric. Top hat is pinned to her head and can be removed.

Esmeralda is attached to a circus wagon box and I attached vintage wooden wheels.

Inside the wagon sits sweet Matilda the baby elephant. Elephant is made from hand dyed viscose fabric. I attached metal wheels to her feet. I made her a blanket from vintage tapestry and embellished with vintage gold trimming.

Esmeralda is holding Under the Big Top banner. Made of fabric and wired to the inside of her arms.

Size: about 16 inches from top hat to wheel base.
