Harriet Tubman: Known as “Moses"
She was the most courageous and determined freedom fighters in U.S. history. Harriet was an escaped enslaved woman who became a “conductor” on the Underground Railroad, leading enslaved people to freedom.
Harriet is dressed in a historical blue print cotton fabric with a vintage lace border at hem, sleeves and collar. She has a red, white and blue ribbon fastened with an vintage metallic bullion star and photo of Harriet. When Harriet turned eleven, she began to wear a bright colored bandanas. So I made Harriet a head wrap with vintage red cotton fabric. Underneath her dress she is wearing lace trimmed pantalets. Her shoes are boots that buttoned up at each side with pearl buttons.
She is 13 inches and comes with a handmade doll stand.
