"A Crown Named Poe"

You might know him as Edgar Allan Poe the famous poet, romantic writer
of short stories known for his macabre themes and tales of mystery.
I have dreamt Poe as a dark, mysterious romantic Crow!!
So please meet Poe the Crow...
The mysterious Poe is short in stature, but handsome in heart.
He measures about10 inches and he can stand alone without a doll stand.
His crow mask is sculpted from black mohair fabric, black cloth and fabric stiffener. Sewn to the back of mask is black ribbon for tying mask around Poe's head.
Poe's black feathers are antique millinery feathers, and range in different sizes. Feathers are sewn to his outfit.
His body and head are made of cloth. His legs are made of black furry mohair.
His face is hand-sculpted with needle and thread. His lips are stitched with red floss and his mustache is made of mohair that has been needle felted to his face.
Look into his deep blue eyes and you will see sadness but a fascinating mysterious expression. His eyes are glass with my signature stitched eye lids.
His hair swept up from his face is black as a crow's wing.
His hair is black mohair and needle felted to his head.
His hands are vintage doll hands, that I painted and gave them a touch of fleshly pink.
Poe is dressed in black woven ticking fabric embellished with vintage crepe paper stitched collar with black ribbon tie. And sewn to the front of outfit 5 tiny orange buttons. He is wearing shiny black Victorian doll shoes.
Poe's petite size is about 10 inches from head to feet and he can stand alone without a doll stand.
